Minnie Hamilton EMS ambulance, the Upper West Fork VFD, and the State Police from the Grantsville detachment responded to an incident at 1:20 a.m. Saturday on Nicut Road, a short distance from Braxton County.
Reportedly an injured woman was discovered laying on the highway, at which time 911 was called for assistance.
Later, it appeared the driver of a car, likely associated with the injured woman, reportedly wrecked a vehicle about one mile ahead on the highway.
Both individuals were taken to Braxton County Hospital by MHHS ambulances, with the driver appearing to sustain the more serious injuries.
State Police are investigating the incident. |
