MAN SHOT - The Charleston Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday.
Anthony Crihfield, 41, of Kenna, was shot in the chest at Littlepage Terrace, on the city's West Side. The shooting was reported around 6 a.m., Detective C.E. Sharp said.
After the shooting, someone drove Crihfield to a Charleston fire station, where he was transported by ambulance to a hospital, Sharp said.
Sharp said Crihfield was in stable condition.
Lt. Steve Cooper said Crihfield was awake but was not cooperating with police in the investigation.
"We're pulling video of the area to see if we can figure it out," Cooper said, "but he's uncooperative and conscious."
There were no witnesses, Cooper said.
"We do believe the victim knew the suspect," he said.
