| Bill R. Agee, 78, of Grantsville, WV, went to be with his Lord on August 20, 2015, at Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg, WV.
He was born May 5, 1937 in Marfrance, WV, the son of the late Flemon and Roxie Lou Crane Agee.
Bill was a member of New Testament Baptist Church, Big Springs, WV. He had lived in Calhoun County since 1988 and before that in Indianapolis, IN. He founded of Agee & Associates in 1971. This insurance agency is still in business today. Bill was a member of the Gideon's International.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Alice M. Agee, of the Grantsville area; one daughter, Vicki L. Lyons of Huntington, WV; son, Chris Agee of Carmel, IN; four sisters, Jean Caudill of N. Wilkesboro, NC; Linda Vestal (Carroll) of Princeton, WV; Dina Dishman (Bill) of Peoria, AZ; and Carol Shafer (Gene) of Peoria, AZ; three brothers, David Agee (Freda) of Highland Heights, KY; Henry Agee (Jeanne) of Renick, WV; and Harvey Agee (Jewell) of Leslie, WV; also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by son, Greg Agee and daughter, Cathie Agee.
A memorial service will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, WV on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Lough and Rev. Dennis Morrello officiating.
