Two people died Thursday night in Roane County following a crash.
It could be days before the victims of the fatal accident are identified.
The crash was on Amma Road.
Police believe the vehicles crashed head-on when one crossed the center line.
Investigators say two SUVs collided and one of the vehicles burst into flames. State police say a driver and passenger died in the SUV that caught fire.
A woman in the the other vehicle was rushed the hospital with serious injuries. Her name has not been released.
The State Medical Examiner's Office is still trying to identify the victims that died.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
