| Gasoline prices are on the rise once again in the Mountain State.
A surge this week has pushed prices up to nearly $3 a gallon in some parts of the state.
In some cases, a 50 cent jump.
That could cost about $7 more for a fill-up.
The surge is not related to the historical supply and demand business model.
