Robert "Bob" E. Miller, 74 of Davisville, West Virginia. Known as "Skipper" to the trucking industry passed away at Camden Clark Memorial Campus on July 31, 2015.
Bob retired from Glenn Rhodes Trucking after 33 years of service as a truck driver. He was also employed at the FMC Corp. before it closed.
Bob was a loving husband and wonderful father who will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife Linda K. (Roberts) Miller and daughter Lesley Ann Miller, whom he adored; 2 brothers, Eddie Miller and his wife Judy of Cape Cod FL and Roger Miller and his wife Anita of Parkersburg WV; 2 nieces, Kim Flanigan and Lynnette Pifer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Gertrude (Smith) Miller.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with the Rev. Delmas Stutler officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 Monday August 3, 2015 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
Interment will be at Lewis Roberts Cemetery. |
