MORGANTOWN STABBING - A man was taken into custody and a victim was rushed to the hospital after an alleged stabbing in downtown Morgantown.
The Morgantown Police Department found a victim, who was bleeding profusely from an apparent knife wound on his arm.
The victim was transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital and later transported to Pittsburgh for emergency treatment of his wounds.
The suspect, identified as William Bracken, 43, was located on High Streetand taken into custody without further incident. Bracken is charged with malicious wounding.
MON BANK ROBBERY -
The Monongalia County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man after an armed robbery at the Cheat Lake BFS on Fairchance Road early Friday morning.
The suspect was carrying a black pistol and demanded money from the clerk at approximately 12:02 a.m. He fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
No one was injured in the incident.
A K-9 tracking dog was called to the scene to attempt to determine a direction of travel, but the suspect was not located. |
