| Grover J. Houchin, 87, of Orma, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Minnie Hamilton Health System, Grantsville.
He was born November 2, 1927, a son of the late Grover and Stella Matheny Houchin.
He is survived by four children, James (Kelley) Houchin; Douglas (Kim) Houchin; and Rhonda (Chad) Whipkey; Steve (Tammy), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Janie Phyllis McCoy Houchin; brothers, Forest and Clyde Houchin; sisters Eula Kerns, Ruth Simmons, Opal Jett, Madge McKown, Bernice Laughlin, and Marie McKown; and two infant siblings.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating. Visitation will be held from noon-2 p.m. Friday. Interment will be in Houchin Cemetery. |
