(WSAZ) -- Sheriff's deputies are searching for a man and woman believed to be responsible for a string of thefts happening in broad daylight.
The first theft was reported Monday afternoon about 3:00. Sheriff Todd Cole tells WSAZ that a pressure washer and some tools were stolen from a home along Route 119, just south of Walton.
A white Ford pickup truck was spotted at the scene.
Friday, that same truck was involved in an ATV theft on Vickers Ridge near the Jackson County line.
Sheriff Cole says it is a slender man with sandy blonde hair, believed to be about 18 - 20 years old, was seen driving the stolen bright green 2015 Arctic Cat ATV. Following behind him was the pickup truck, driven by a woman.
The pair was last seen Friday afternoon, heading toward Charleston.
