| Barry James Marlatt, age 69, of Glenville, West Virginia, departed this life at 1:55 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport, West Virginia, following an extended illness.
Born April 23, 1946 in New Jersey, Barry was the son of the late Lewis J. and Betty Wismer Marlatt.
Barry was a graduate of Pequannock Twp. High School, class of 1964. He was a veteran of the United State Navy, and a maintenance worker in the golfing industry, where he enjoyed the game of golf on a daily basis. Along with golf, Barry liked wrestling, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are 4 children, Barry James Marlatt Jr. of St. Lucie, Florida, Keshia Marlatt and husband Greg Waddell, Dustin Marlatt, and Jodi Sparks and husband Tristan all of Glenville, WV; and 2 grandchildren, Greg Waddell Jr. and Isabella Waddell, both of Glenville.
Along with his parents, Barry was preceded in death by 1 sister, Lynn Marlatt.
Barry's request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
