| Kermit Richard Smith, 52, of Left Hand, West Virginia, passed away on July 14, 2015 at home.
He was born August 31, 1962 in Spencer, West Virginia, a son of the late Glen Ray and Erma Lou Prunty Smith.
He was a former Precision Machinist for Stearns Airport Equipment and was a pipeliner.
He is survived by his siblings, Marvin R. Smith of Left Hand, Wayne A. Smith of Alderson, West Virginia, Louise Smith Wood of Alderson, Carolyn Smith of McLean, Virginia, Donna Smith Harper of Charleston, West Virginia, Connie S. Smith of Huntington, West Virginia, and William E. "Billy" Smith of Huntington; and nieces and nephews, David Smith, Christopher Wood, Sarah Wood Hampton, Emily Harper, Finley Smith, Liam Smith, and Ainsley Smith.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lisa Smith.
Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Rev. David Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Clover Cemetery. Visiting will be one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
