| Broaddus Chload Moore, 81 of Milo in Calhoun County passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Roane General Hospital.
He was born June 20, 1934 at Wallback, WV. Broaddus was an avid fox hunter who loved to hear those dogs run. He was a retired bus driver for Calhoun County Schools 30 years of service. He was a farmer who loved to see those baby calves born.
Broaddus was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Louise Anderson Moore, his parents Cecil and Maysel Moore and four brothers Virgil Calvin, Orvis and Buhl and a sister Leah.
He is survived by his children Sharon (Dean) Bennett, Spencer, WV, Doris (George) Weekley, Spencer, WV, Leah Janice (Chip) Westfall Mt. Zion, WV Michael (Karen) Moore, Chloe, WV Cecil (Tammy) South Charleston, WV and Timothy (Jennifer) Moore Chloe, WV.
Sisters Mary (Floyd) Moss of Ripley, Dorthy Darrah of Massillon, Ohio and Dorcas (Clarence) McVicker of Massillon, Ohio and Clayton (Betty) Moore of Wallback, WV and sister-in-law Gladys Moore of Millwood, WV.
His grandchildren are Jeannie Bennett, Suzanne (Curtis) Allen, Jason Bennett, George (Jennifer Ritter) Weekley, III, Andrew (Miranda) Weekley, Scottie Westfall III, Casey Westfall, Brandon (Chasity) Moore, Julie (Will) Rogers, Will Moore, Katie Beth Cox, John (Sara) Moore, Austin Moore, Sarah Beth Moore, Logan Moore and Seth Moore.
His great grandchildren are Sam and Emily Brady, Kaylea Bennett, Bryson Montgomery, Josie Montgomery, Tyler Bennett, Kirkland Allen, Tori Allen, Jarrett Allen, Kiersten Bennett, Cameron Bennett, Kaci Bennett, Braylon and Kate Weekley, and Bella Roger.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the United States of America.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 6-9 PM at the Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg.
The funeral will be Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Wallback, WV. |
