West Virginia's baby boomers aren't faring so well compared to those in other states a new survey released Tuesday determined.
Mountain State residents aged 55 and older ranked dead last in the country in terms of well-being, according to Gallup-Healthways' "State Well-Being Rankings for Older Americans."
West Virginia's well-being ranking for its older residents was followed by Kentucky, Oklahoma, Ohio and Indiana.
On the opposite end of the spectrum, seniors are best off in Hawaii, Montana, South Dakota, Alaska and Iowa, according to the study.
