This house reportedly a meth lab in Burning Springs

Authorities have raided three Wirt County locations, with one location described by State Police as a working methamphetamine lab, a residence reportedly occupied by Richard Lawson, 48.

The house was along the Little Kanawha River (Burning Springs Road) near the former Burning Springs Store and Hotel.

State Police, the Wirt County Sheriff and the Parkersburg Narcotics Task Force also arrested Clifton Phillips, 20, of Elizabeth and Donald Ferrell, 30, of Walker (Route 47). All are being held on drug charges at North Central Regional Jail on $30,000 bond.

Lawson was arrested by the task force while he was buying supplies for his lab, according to authorities.

Officials said clean-up operations followed the raids, although two of the labs were not in full operation.
