| Howard "Mickey" Leo Sterns, 81 of Grantsville, WV passed away at Charleston Area Medical Center on July 2, 2015.
He was born on July 8, 1933 in Sistersville, Tyler County, WV, son of the late Walter Howard Sterns and Evelyn Marietta Spence Sterns.
Mick was a US Navy veteran and worked as a laborer for several years. He most recently enjoyed doing wood working and spending time with his dog, Shelia.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Pete Sterns. Mick is survived by his nephew, Bryan Sterns (Teresa) of Grantsville, WV; a niece, Stephanie Sterns Klug (Andy) of Aiea, Hawaii; two great nephews, Grant Sterns and Reid Klug, and one great niece, Paige Sterns.
A private memorial service was held on July 8, 2015 in honor of Mick's birthday and celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Humane Society of the United States.
