According to WalletHub, who did a study on 2015's most and least patriotic states, their findings may be surprising for some West Virginians who claim to bleed red, white, and blue.
WalletHub says that patriotism has been waning in recent years. While 38 percent of Americans said the U.S. was the best country in the world in 2011, that number fell to 28 percent in 2014.
In national polling, polarized Congress is given about a 10% performance rating.
In WalletHubs poll, West Virginia ranked 46th out of the 50 states for most patriotic even though we are said to have the most veterans per capita.
