The Elizabeth VFDs 37th annual ice cream social is July 4th, not only special ice cream, but numerous entertainment events.
8 am - Firecracker 5k fun run/walk. Registration begins at 7am
11 am - Fireman's Parade
11:50 am - Opening ceremony with national anthem and prayer
Noon-1:45 pm - "Daysping" (Gospel)
2-3:45 pm "Northwest Territory" (Bluegrass)
4-6 pm Auction by John Jones
6-7:45 pm - "Plan B"
8:30-10 pm "Mixx"
10 pm - Fireworks... The best place to watch them is on Schoolview Street which is the street the fire station is on. Music will accompany the display
Door prizes every hour.
Hotdogs, Broughton's ice cream, pies, cakes, pop, and chips.
