| Michael L. Whiting, 64, of Spencer, West Virginia, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at home.
He was born March 23, 1951 in Roane County, a son of the late Frederick and Patsy Ruth Palmer Whiting.
He was a former truck driver.
He is survived by two daughters, Vicki Schubert of Gandeeville, West Virginia and Kendra Habeb of Parkersburg, West Virginia; two sisters, Joyce Weese and Teresa Miller, both of Akron, Ohio; and six grandchildren, Cory Michael Schubert, Kenzi and Kage Shreve, and Abigail, Nathaniel, and Shine Habeb.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Dolan Whiting and a sister, Kim Whiting.
There will be no visitation or service as Michael's wish was to be cremated.
Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of the arrangements.
