| George J. Herr, 85, of Chloe, WV died June 21, 2015 at his home following a short illness.
He was born June 12, 1930 in Hiram Rapids, Ohio, son of the late John G. and Goldie Springer Herr.
He is survived by former wife, Alice Vanderink, whom he married July 1, 1950; sons George J. (Nancy) Herr and Gergory H. (Kathryn) Herr; daughters, Sharon Herr; Susan (Tim) Behnke; Sandra (Jeff) Phillips; and Sally (Greg) Blegg; brother, Max Herr; 8 grandchildren and 4
great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Clifford, Earl, Donald and Howard; and sister, Frances.
Visitation will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg on Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. |
