CHILD ABDUCTION - Five people have been arrested in Jackson Co. WV connected to a reported child abduction from a home in Meigs County Tuesday morning.
Meigs County Sheriff Keith Wood says the little girl, who is 5-6 years old, was abducted by three adults from her father's home about 8:30 a.m., with a babysitter present.
About an hour after the incident, that vehicle was stopped in parking lot of the Walmart in Ripley.
The little girl was found safe, and 5 people were arrested, three women and two men, in connection with the alleged incident, according to the Meigs County Sheriff's Office.
The girl's father, Chadd Ratcliff, told media that one of women arrested is the child's mother, and that she and two men took the girl at gunpoint.
Ratcliff was reunited with daughter at store where the five were arrested.
HUNTINGTON ROBBERY - Police are investigating a robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Huntington.
It happened Monday night at Long John Silver's.
Police say a man walked inside, implied he had a gun and demanded cash.
Once he got the money, he took off.
