| Edward Lee Barker, 69, of Belpre, Ohio passed away July 18,2014 at Camden Clark
Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg, WV after an extended illness. Ed was born on
March 18,1945 to Elizabeth (Lizzie) Barker who preceded him in death in
1993.
He was born in Calhoun Co. WV and spent most of his childhood years in the
Nicut, WV Area.
He especially loved calling Mount Run his home where he had so many close
friends.
Ed joined the Army in 1964 and served in Viet Nam as a Medic. He was retired
from Kaiser Aluminum, Ravenswood, WV after many years of service.
Surviving are his brother, James E. Dobbins of Port Orange Florida, two
nieces, Debbie Bickerstaff and Jean Shenk of Pa.
At Ed's request, there were no services. Cremation was performed.
Final arrangements were made by his
lifelong friends, with whom he spent most of his growing up years. His final
resting place is in the Mount Run Cemetery, Nicut, WV.
