| The Calhoun Food Pantry has moved from its longtime location at the First Baptist Church.
Longtime volunteer Pete Trippett says the pantry has outgrown its location as the result of an ever increasing number of families needing food.
"The number being served and the amount of food processed through the facility has made it necessary to move to a new building," Trippett said.
The new location is to 1500 E. Little Kanawha Highway (Rt. 5) about a mile or two east of Grantsville.
Trippett said there will be no Mountaineer Food Bank truck food giveaways during the months of June and July.
The pantry will be open two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
