Jerry Lee McClain, 76, of Washington, W.Va., passed away June 7, 2015 at Marietta Care & Rehab, in Marietta, Ohio.
Jerry was born Aug. 6, 1938 in Normantown, W.Va., to Doy and Mable {Boggs} McClain.
Jerry graduated from Normantown High School and was a Navy Veteran.
He married Sandy Williams on April 4, 1964.
Jerry was employed as a gaffer at Corning and then Schott Glass; and formerly owned and operated McClain Restaurant and Esso. He attended Lubeck Church of Christ and was a member of the American Legion Post 15. Jerry loved to play baseball and basketball, hunting and fishing and watching football.
Jerry will be deeply missed by his wife; son, Steven; and daughter, Kristin Lewis (Paul) both of Parkersburg; and grandchildren, Jacob, Justin and Katlyn Patterson.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald and Linn McClain; and sister Patsy Frame.
