| William D. Nester, 79, of Elizabeth WV passed away June 4, 2015 after an extended illness.
He was born in Boone County WV the son of the Late William Ezra and Virginia Ellen (Lilly) Nester.
He retired after 25 years of Service from Walker of Parkersburg WV and was a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
He enjoyed farming (chasing his cows) Most of all he loved being with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Joan (Ladd) Nester;
2 Children: William "Billy" Nester (Angela) of Parkersburg WV
Jodee Nester (D.J. Burdette) of Elizabeth.
Grandchildren: Mackenzie, Abigail and Emylene Nester, Trenton, Benjamin, JayeLynne and Audreyanna Burdette.
Three step grandchildren: Hannah, Clayton and Alana Dickson.
A brother Jerry Nester and four sisters, Margaret Walker, Betty Cottrill, Mary Peter, Joyce Nester,
and Several Nieces and Nephews.
He was Preceded in death by both his parents and infant siblings.

Funeral Mass will Be Monday June 8, 2015 at 11:00 am at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church, Father Joshua Stevens officiating.
Interment will be at K of P Cemetery of Elizabeth WV.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Saturday June 6, 2015 at Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV. |
