| Calhoun responders were dispatched by 911 about 10:30 a.m. Friday to extract a two and one-half year old child who was locked inside of a running vehicle.
The incident was on Sams Run Road, a rural highway between Beech Road and Roane County.
The Upper West Fork VFD, Minnie Hamilton EMS, and Calhoun Sheriff Carl Ballengee were responding to the scene.
A report at 11:20 p.m. indicated the child at been removed from the vehicle.
