BANK ROBBED - A man has been arrested in a robbery that happened Tuesday at Peoples Bank in Huntington.
Christopher Alexander Shy, 24, of Huntington, is charged with bank robbery.
Shy also is charged with second-degree robbery in the robbery of the Family Dollar in West Huntington about 9:45 p.m. Monday.
During the bank robbery, Shy held a hand behind his back and told a teller he had a weapon, according to criminal complaints.
Officers with the CUFFED Task Force arrested Shy in the 1000 block of Washington Avenue in West Huntington. Most of the stolen cash from both incidents was recovered.
Police say Shy has a previous embezzlement charge.
He was taken to the Western Regional Jail. His bond was set at $300,000.
