Calhoun High School has three McKelvey Foundation 2003 Gold Scholarship winners this year: James Bailey, Deva Murphy
and Joey Park. These students will receive the following benefits.
Payment of up to $10,000 per year for four years at a McKelvey partnering college or university in West Virginia.
Access to the McKelvey Foundation Field Administrator.
Attendance at Camp McKelvey which will help orient students to college life and introduce entrepreneurial skills.
Participation in a one-day conference on December 13 at State College, Pennsylvania.

Joey plans to major in computer science and may attend WV Wesleyan College. Deva will attend WV Wesleyan majoring in
medicine. She plans to become a doctor. James plans to major in accounting but is undecided on the college he will
attend.
