| PARKERSBURG HOLD-UP - Police arrested a man and a woman after an armed robbery Wednesday on Market Street in Parkersburg.
Business owner Joe Dehaven say that the pair entered his business brandishing a pistol and demanding money. He defended himself with a baseball bat, in an altercation.
Police said the woman stole a bag of money from behind the bar. Then they fled.
The male was wanted in Delaware County, Oh. for a probation violation. The woman was taken to the Belpre Police Department for questioning. Both eventually confessed to their involvement in the robbery.
The money was later located in the car. The victim sustained lacerations to his face during the altercation which caused swelling and bruising.
