GLENVILLE, W.VA. - The Alzheimer's Association, West Virginia Chapter will present Alzheimer's & Dementia University for Families & Professionals on Thursday, May 21, at Glenville State College's Alan B. Mollohan Campus Community Center.
Alzheimer's & Dementia University for Families & Professionals is a one-day conference for family caregivers and healthcare professionals offering continuing education credits for physicians, nurses, and social workers.
Registration opens at 8:30 a.m. and the conference will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

Topics covered at the conference will include the basics of Alzheimer's and dementia, improving communication strategies, recommendations for legal and financial safety and security, and tips for working with your healthcare provider.
