Carla Jo Cantrell Walker, 69, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, departed this world April 30, 2015, after a long battle.
Survivors include a special companion and ex-husband, Houston D. Walker of Mineral Wells WV; son, Eric N. Walker of Sherman WV; daughters, Tammy J. Metts of Parkersburg, Crystal L. Westmoreland and husband, David of Ravenswood WV; an adopted son (grandson) Huston N. Walker and wife, Alicia of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Katlyn and Lakota Lott of Parkersburg, Mason and Braxton Westmoreland of Ravenswood; great grandchildren, Alexis and Riley Walker of Parkersburg; sister, Karen Dickerson; brothers, Allen Cantrell, Jack Cantrell, Teddy Cantrell and Timmy Cantrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore J. and Jessie Irene McCumbers Cantrell; brother, Chuck Cantrell; sister, Jolynn Cantrell Clute.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 3 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with the Rev. Mark Price officiating. Burial will be in the Walker Chapel Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call one hour before the funeral.
