| Deo Darrell Mace, 75, of Sand Ridge, Calhoun County, passed away on April 29, 2015, at Clay Health Care Center, surrounded by family and friends, following a long illness.
Deo was born September 8, 1939, a son of the late Ralph William and Beulah Poling Mace. He worked in the oil and gas field and was a farmer. He liked to spend time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; sons Nathan (Cassie) Mace of Huntington WV, Walter Mace of Sand Ridge WV and Richard Mace of Sand Ridge; sisters Elma Jean Mace and Helen June Mace both of Sand Ridge.
Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg, on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 3:00 p.m.
Randy Whited will officiate. Interment will be in the Mace-White Cemetery on Sassafras Rd. Visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. prior to the service.
