The Braxton County Sheriff's Department and State Police responded to the scene of a fatal crash on Thursday evening on I-79 about 4:30 p.m.
near mile marker 78.
Killed in the accident was a Calhoun man Bill Howley, 62, of Chloe.
The vehicle was traveling northbound when it crashed.
An eyewitness of the accident reported that Howley's truck began swerving on I-79 with no brakes applied and crashed into a ravine and caught on fire.
