Larry Dwain Williams, 75, of Peniel, West Virginia died April 19, 2015 at his home after a long illness.
He was born April 16, 1940 in Spencer, West Virginia a son of the late Walter C. "George" and Helen Guthrie Williams. He was a Ravenswood High School graduate and was retired from Kaiser/Century Aluminum. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Larry is survived by his wife, Karon Miller Williams; three sons, Steve and Shelia Williams of Peniel, Wayne and Judy Williams of Clover, West Virginia and Richard Williams of Belle, West Virginia; two brothers, Harry "Tiny" Williams and Terry and Carol Williams, both of Spencer; three sisters, Joyce and Jim Morgan of Arnoldsburg, West Virginia, Janet Matheny of Spencer, and Judy and Roger Scott of Statesville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Bo Williams and his wife, Ashley, and Seth, Gabi, and Samantha Williams; and great-grandchildren, Savannah, Kalista, Cash, Brock and Max Williams.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carolyn Williams.
A visitation will held from 11:00 am to noon on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer. Per his request, there will be no service or viewing and his body will be cremated following the visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Spencer Church of the Nazarene, 754 Parkersburg Road Spencer WV 25276. |
