| Bernard J. Godfrey, 83 of Little Hocking, Ohio died April 14, 2015 at the Marietta Center.
He was born in Stumptown, WV on February 20, 1932 and was the son of the late Harley D. and Alma Vannoy Godfrey. He retired from Elkem following 34 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Betty Godfrey; four children, Deborah (David) Williams of Vincent, Ohio, Kimberly (Steve) Sapp of Parkersburg WV, Douglas (Denise) Godfrey of Clarksville TN, Bradley (Tiffany) Godfrey of Little Hocking OH; nine grandchildren, Michael (Wendi) Williams of Belpre OH, Laura Williams of Georgia, Karen Williams of Vincent OH, Chad (Natalie) Gregg of Georgia, Eric (Claire) Gregg of Greenville SC, Darca Sapp of Parkersburg WV, Sean Godfrey of Clarksville TN, Nathaniel Godfrey and Nicholas Godfrey of Belpre OH; and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Robert (Barbara) Godfrey of Omaha NE .
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his mother and father-in-law, Charles and Milfred Creamer Holman.
Graveside services will be private and will be conducted by Pastor Eric Seckman.
