| Belinda L. Settle, age 51 of Normantown, West Virginia, departed this life Tuesday evening, April 14, 2015 at the Hospice Care Regional Impatient Center, Elkins, WV; following an extended illness.
Born March 7, 1964 in Fort Lee, Virginia, Belinda was the daughter of the late James Newell and Martha Newell of Germany.
Belinda was a cashier in the retail industry for most of her working life. She spent several years behind the counter of Fred's Country Store in Normantown. and liked to knit, crochet, and care for animals.
In December of 1990 she was united in marriage to Paul Settle, who preceded her in death in October 2009.
Surviving are 2 children, Cody Settle of Mt. Zion WV and Katrina Tallhammer and husband Timothy of Mt. Zion; and 3 grandchildren, Wesley, Kaleigh, and Alana Tallhammer of Mt. Zion.
Along with her husband and father, Belinda was preceded in death by 1 sister, Mary Stich.
Belinda's request for cremation has been honored and the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
