State Police investigating accident that led to man's death
A 73-year-old Left Fork Road (Sycamore) man, identified as Denzil Boothe, has died of injuries sustained when his own vehicle reportedly ran over him this week.
Boothe suffered from traumatic injuries to his lower body, and was taken to Arnoldsburg by Minnie Hamilton EMS to be flown by chopper to a Charleston hospital.
State Police were sent Thursday to the private property on Sycamore where the accident happened to investigate the cause.
The accident happened in a rural area between Millstone Hill (Rt. 16) and Russett.
The Arnoldsburg also VFD responded.
