| A 44-year-old Sams Run man was injured shortly after noon Thursday when a tree fell on him.
Minnie Hamilton EMS and the Upper West Fork VFD responded to the incident off Beech Road, identified as the Guy Knicely residence.
The man reportedly was reportedly suffering from a broken leg and was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center.
