FIRE CONSUMES OKA RD. DWELLING SUNDAY NIGHT - House Engulfed When Fire Discovered

A fire of unknown origin struck an unoccupied two-story farm house Sunday night on Oka Road, about one-half mile off State Rt. 16 at Chloe.

The dwelling was completely engulfed when the fire was discovered about 8 p.m.

The property had been purchased by Brian Jarvis of Chloe, who was remodeling the structure. It had been occupied by the Boswell family.

The Upper West Fork and Arnoldsburg VFDs responded to the blaze, but the house was on the ground when they arrived.
