| Douglas Bryan Bumgarner, 53, of Sandyville, West Virginia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, West Virginia.
He was born on December 24, 1961 in Spencer, West Virginia, a son of Hazelene Kiser Atkins who was his loving caregiver for 53 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Gary W. Bumgarner of Dunbar, West Virginia; two sisters, Cheryl Jean McKenna of Parkersburg, West Virginia and Teresa Ellen Burdette of Culloden, West Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer with Bill Walton officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Reedy Cemetery in Reedy, West Virginia. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. |
