| Roane County authorities arrested Christopher Marshall Cherry, 20, on multiple counts. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $8,500. He is charged with possession of marijuana over 15 grams, improper/expired registration, obstructing, no insurance and defective equipment. William Howard Murray, 61, of Braxton County was charged with possession of a controlled substance and is in Central Regional Jail.
