| Carol Jean Stevens, 69, of Reedy, West Virginia formerly of Newport, Ohio died March 16, 2015 at the Hubbard Hospice in Charleston, West Virginia.
She was born December 19, 1945 in Marietta, Ohio a daughter of the late Roy Holland and Kathryn Chester Holland Townsend. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nelsonville Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Stevens and a son, Brian Stevens.
She is survived by one daughter with whom she made her home for the past few years, Brenda and Greg Cottrell of Reedy; one son, Mark Stevens of Marietta; one sister, Vickie Scott of Marietta; one brother, David Holland of Columbus, Ohio; and six grandchildren.
Her body was donated to the Willed Body Program, Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer, West Virginia is in charge of handling Mrs. Steven's arrangements. There will no service or visitation.
