Roger Allen "Dick" Dickerson, 63, of Spencer, West Virginia passed away March 7, 2015 after a long illness.
Dick was born October 31, 1951 in Spencer a son of Rev. Holly and Dorothy Harris Dickerson of Spencer. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and living life to the fullest.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by four children, Eric Dickerson and Sara Parsons, both of Spencer, Meygan Dickerson of North Haven, Maine, and Roger Flesher of Clendenin, West Virginia; two brothers, Holly Dickerson of Spencer and Gary Dickerson of Leesburg, Florida; six grandchildren, Dalton and Rhyannah Clarkson, Kingston Arthur, Savanna Dickerson, and Lane and Faith Flesher; three nieces; and several cousins.
A viewing and memorial service will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, Spencer. Per his request, the body will be cremated with burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAL HOME, 206 Beauty Street, Spencer WV 25276.
