Calhoun's Christmas Connection would like to thank all volunteers and supporters for another successful year of giving.
Christmas 2014 was the biggest year so far, providing presents and filled stockings for 235 children; made possible through the generous support of the citizens and businesses of Calhoun County.
A special thank you goes out to the Parkersburg Salvation Army for providing food baskets for 256 families, Dominion Resources for transportation assistance, and the STARS of Calhoun County High School for assembling the food baskets.
Thanks to Arnoldsburg Elementary School for their annual stocking stuffer drive, and Pleasant Hill Elementary for their wrapping paper drive initiative.
Also a special thank you to the knitters, whose dedication provided every child with hand-made items for their Christmas stocking, volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to this program, and sponsors whose generous funding makes this program successful.
