Jerry Greathouse Grover, 85, July 29, 1929 ‒ February 23, 2015 of Galena, Ohio, formerly of Dublin, OH, passed away peacefully Monday morning February 23, 2015 at her son and daughter-in-law's residence.
She was born July 29, 1929 in Calhoun County, West Virginia to Bradford and Ora (Arthur) Gainer.
She received her real estate license in 1969 and her broker's license in 1972 and was the president of E and J Homes and Investments in Dublin, OH. In 2009, she received her 40 year award from the National Association of Realtors and she was also a longtime and very involved member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #287 of Worthington.
She loved square dancing and was a member of the Worthington Squares. She also attended the Eastside Mission Church in Delaware.
Left to cherish her memory is her son John (Jeannette) Greathouse of Galena; grandchildren Justin Greathouse of Delaware and Jessica Greathouse of Columbus; brother George Gainer of Akron; sister Christine Baker of Sun City, Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Roscoe Gainer and her former husband William P. Greathouse.
The family received friends on Friday February 27th from 11:00 am until time of funeral services at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware with Rev. Donnie Akers officiating. Burial followed in Kingwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
