Calhoun authorities have arrested Matthew Ryan Dunbar, 19, of Elm Street, Grantsville, and charged him with petit larceny, a felony, after he allegedly entered the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department and Minnie Hamilton EMS building, without breaking, according to a criminal complaint.
Dunbar was charged by the WV State Police after he entered the building twice.
A criminal complaint says Dunbar was discovered in the EMS office wearing clothes that belonged to an EMS worker, in addition to having a portable radio belonging to Minnie Hamilton EMS, and also possessing a cell phone belonging to an EMS worker.
The complaint says that Dunbar broke into a locked medicine cabinet used for storing excess medication.
The complaint also says Dunbar, "had gone through personal bags and had worn protective fire gear."
The officer removed Dunbar from the facility, warning him never to return.
A few hours later Sr. Trooper D. C. Moore was dispatched by 911 to return to the station, that Dunbar was back in the facility.
The officer, in the complaint, said Dunbar was then trying on fireman's equipment.
"The defendant [Dunbar] said he was bored," said the complaint.
He is in Central Regional Jail.
A Clay County man, Paul Chester Truman, 47, has been charged with anonymous or harassing communications by computer, additionally charged with assault.
He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $5,000.
Two Gilmer residents have been arrested on drug marihuana charges.
Jeremy Bruce Askew, 44, and Laura Ann Cottrill, 45, have been charged with manufacturing marijuana and conspiracy.
They are in Central Regional Jail, with bond posted at $100,000 each.
