The Pleasant Hill Public Service District is holding a public meeting regarding waterline extensions on June 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
This will be the last meeting to collect tap fees from the residents of Leafbank, Upper Back Fork, Leading Creek and Klipstine Road.
The project has been fully funded by USDA-Rural Development and the Appalachian Regional Commission but all tap fees must be collected so the project can move towards construction.
"It is very important
for all people interested in water in these areas to participate in the public meetings," said Dale Cunningham, Chairman of the Pleasant Hill PSD.
$2,415,000 has been allocated To Pleasant Hill PSD for water improvements and extensions by USDA Rural Development and the Appalachian Regional Commission.
