| Ruby Miller, 83, of Glenville WV, departed this life in the early morning hours of Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Genesis Health Care Center, following an extended illness.
Born April 14, 1931 in Gilmer County, daughter of the late Walter C. and Lizzie S. Smith Ball.
Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She loved to spend time with family and friends, and relaxing on the porch.
On August 14, 1960, she was united in marriage to Ronald Clay Miller who survives in Glenville.
Surviving are 2 children, Elizabeth Justice of Burnsville, and Walter Miller of Burnsville. 5 grandchildren, Rose Freeman and husband Scott of Weston, Travis Justice of Weston, Carl Justice of Burnsville, Timothy Hicks and wife Jadale of North Dakota, and Tyler Hicks of Parkersburg, 7 great grandchildren, Sean, Zachary, Taylor and Scotty Freeman of Weston, and Jadelynn, Carley, and Trenton Hicks of North Dakota, and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by 1 son, Vernon G. Miller, 1 grandson, Larry Brooks Justice, and 9 siblings, Paul, Robert, Clyde, and Arthur Ball, Mearl Vankirk, Bernice Barton, Florence McCumbers, Sylvia Hardway, and Ellen Ball.
Ruby's request for Cremation has been honored and the family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
