State Police in Clay County say they responded to a shooting in the Duck area around 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
They discovered Delwin Buzzard, 45, of Duck, with a gun shot wound, arresting
James Asbury, 48, of Duck.
Police said both Buzzard and Asbury's families lived in the same residence and the shooting was allegedly a result of a domestic incident.
Buzzard was shot with a high-powered rifle and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the shot struck Buzzard's hand and then went into his lower stomach.
Six different family members were living in the household.
Asbury is charged with malicious wounding and five counts of domestic assault. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $150,000.
