Wilma Dotson Westfall, 84, of Triplett Road, Spencer, West Virginia,
died October 25, 2002, in Roane General Hospital.
Born in Tyler County, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary Williams
Dotson. She was a former president of Roane General Hospital Auxiliary where
she volunteered for 29 years. She was a former employee of Kellwood
Industries of Spencer, with 14 years of service. She was a charter member of
the Spencer Church of Christ. Mrs. Westfall and her late husband, Edward C.
Westfall, were the founders of E.C. Westfall and Son Polled Herefords and
were prominent producers of Polled Hereford cattle. She was an active member
of the West Virginia Polled Hereford Association.
Surviving are sons, Edward C. Westfall Jr., and James H. Westfall, both of
Spencer, and Bernard G. Westfall of Morgantown, WV; one daughter, Sandra
Westfall Tupes of Charlotte, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and 12
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one daughter,
Barbara Ann Westfall.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Stump Funeral Home in
Arnoldsburg. Blaine Cook will officiate. Interment will be in the Eventide
Cemetery at Spencer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
p.m. Sunday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the
Roane General Hospital Auxiliary Fund.
