| Harlan Junior Starcher, 78, of Normantown, WV passed away on January 28th, 2015 at his home.
He was born August 14, 1936 in Calhoun County WV, the son of the late Harlan and Lona Mae Starcher.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years Betty Jean: his children Calvin Lee and his wife Cheryl, Mark Blaine and his wife Amy; his grandson Timothy Joseph and his wife Tara; and his great granddaughter Alexandria Nicole.
He is also survived by two sisters Ruby and Janet and one brother, Darrell.
He is preceded in death by 1 brother Leo Starcher; 4 sisters Ruth, Lena, Reda, and Emogene; one grandson Jeremy Victor Starcher.
He was a retired lumberman and truck driver. In his spare time, he loved hunting and fishing and spending time in the woods. He was the happiest when he was with his family whom he loved more than anything. He was an avid cat lover.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday February 2, 2015 at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville with Rev. Lewis Villers officiating. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to the services. |
